# Export

> Download your dataset results as a CSV file.

You can export the current view of a dataset's results as a CSV file for use in spreadsheets, reports, or other tools.

## Downloading a CSV

1. Open a dashboard with a chart that uses the dataset you want to export.
2. Click the **options menu** (three dots) on the chart.
3. Select **Download CSV**.

The download includes the data as currently shaped by your transformations, any active filters, sorts, groupings, and hidden columns are reflected in the exported file.

## What's included

* All visible columns and rows after transformations are applied.
* Column headers match the display names configured in the chart.
* Hidden columns are excluded.
